Start with your non-negotiable
Pick your must-have first—like quartz countertops or light floors—and build your design around it. It’s easier to create a cohesive look when you start with what matters most.
Stay within a color palette
Choose either a warm or cool palette and stick to it. Mixing warm and cool tones (like beige cabinets with grey floors) can clash, so keep your selections within the same tone.

Come with a budget
Upgrades like vinyl plank, quartz, and designer backsplash come at an added cost, paid in three installments. Decide what you must have now and what can wait.

Can I personalize my Omega home?

Omega offers high levels of personalization to make your home uniquely yours. Once you’ve selected your community, lot, and floor plan, you’ll have the opportunity to design your home from the inside out - choosing from a wide variety of cabinets, flooring, brick, stone, and more. Our design options allow you to create a home that reflects your style while maintaining the quality and efficiency Omega is known for.

Can I provide my own finishes or request custom features like mirrors, tile, wiring, or insulation during construction?

While we understand the desire to add personal touches during construction, Omega Builders does not install customer-supplied materials or make custom wiring or insulation changes. This policy helps us maintain the high standards, warranties, and quality control that every Omega home is built upon.

However, we offer a wide variety of design selections and personalization options for finishes and features, so you can still create a home that reflects your style. Your New Home Sales Agent can walk you through all available choices and upgrades for your community.

Can Omega relocate the exterior fence of my home or adjust how the pickets or posts face?

Omega Builders cannot relocate exterior fences or modify the direction of the pickets or posts. Fence placement and design are determined to meet community standards, property line requirements, and drainage considerations. These guidelines ensure a consistent, safe, and attractive appearance throughout the neighborhood. For more information about fence layouts in your community, please contact your New Home Sales Agent.

Can my closet be left unfinished or without shelving and railing?

All closets are completed with standard shelving and hanging components to ensure functionality, safety, and consistency with our quality standards. After closing, homeowners are welcome to make additional customizations to suit their storage needs or personal style.

Can I have a garage floor coating or epoxy applied during construction?

Omega Builders does not apply garage floor coatings or epoxy during construction. However, once you have closed on your home, you are welcome to add a floor coating or epoxy finish at your own convenience to achieve your desired look and functionality.

Does Omega offer any green or energy saving features?

Yes, Omega Builders offers a variety of green and energy-saving features, which vary by community. Our homes are designed with efficiency, comfort, and sustainability in mind — from energy-efficient construction practices to smart home technology that helps reduce energy use.
