John Mayo

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

John Mayo is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Omega Builders. While John has many responsibilities at a functional level, his primary focus is to ensure that Omega has the right resources, processes, controls, and procedures in place to achieve both short term & strategic goals.

Having served on numerous city and civic boards, John currently volunteers his time as a Board Member for the City of Temple's Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone No. 1, and as a Board Member & Treasurer for Central Texas Youth Services, a 501(c)3 entity with a mission to providing services to troubled youth in Bell, McLennan and Coryell counties. He also actively serves as a professional mentor for the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor's Accounting Internship Program and for the Startup & Historically Underutilized Minority Owned Businesses within the Construction Industry. John co-founded the Central Texas Search & Recovery Team, completed GAP International's Executive Management Breakthrough Leadership Program, and was featured as part of a national ad campaign focused on incorporating technology to streamline our processes within the construction industry.

During his down time, John values time with his family, enjoys playing golf & tennis, and looks forward to working with his horses & cattle. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University ("Wreck 'em!") and an MBA in Management from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor ("Go Cru!").
