On the outskirts of Stillhouse Hollow Lake, off FM 1670 just outside of Temple in Belton, TX, this park offers the perfect amount of outdoors for a weekend hike.
The park is open daily from 8 am to sunset and is free to explore!
The park & trail is along the Lampasas River - where you can do some fishing & kayaking, brave a cable bridge, and of course checkout the waterfalls!
This park is a great place to bring family and friends - and your four legged friends - just remember a leash!
Wooden Bridge at Chalk Ridge Trail
The trail is about 3 miles out and back and features a wooden bridge, water falls and cable bridge - with a few loops included, you can make your hike as long or as short as you'd like.

Cable Bridge at Chalk Ridge Trail
There is a little known secret hidden within the park and can only be found after a heavy rainfall. The extra rain creates different levels of pools with large waterfalls creating a quiet oasis to enjoy before heading back down the trail.
