Staging a home, especially during the Parade of Homes™, is a great way for people shopping for a home to better visualize what it will look like to live there. You may not like the exact couch, or you might pick a different color scheme altogether, but having furniture in the home offers a better understanding of the spacial relationships between rooms, pathways, etc.

Here is a behind the scenes look at staging a home:

Once the furniture is unloaded and set in its general location, that is when the work really starts! Serious kudos to Clay Lee, he not only represents Omega in Bryan-College Station and chooses the color selections for each home, but he does a phenomenal job furnishing & decorating our move-in ready homes! You don't have to take my word for it though, take a look at this interactive 3D tour of a different Marietta to see for yourself.

Looking back, there was a time when Omega would spend months to design a single home to enter in the Parade of Homes™ and bring new ideas, technology innovations, and incorporate the trendiest colors to really knock your socks off - and we won a lot of awards, too! While it was always a lot of fun, it required a tremendous amount of hard work and a huge time commitment from everyone on the team. As we started building in more communities and with a broader price range, we realized that it really wasn't reflective of who we were becoming or the homes we sell. Rather than spend a considerable resources and effort on one parade home, we focused more on continuously improving each and every home to offer the very best to our customers.

By presenting homes in the parade that include popular options and color schemes that are representative of the homes we build and sell in the community, we allow our quality craftsmanship and attention to detail to shine through. You'll still see the latest & greatest, but more importantly these homes are attainable because we didn't have to raise the budget to do it!
